A practical, well-written and encouraging guide to choosing the right research method for undergraduate research. The new sections since the 2010 edition, including "You're the Supervisor" helps students to think through common research questions. The list of references is useful for postgraduate students, who need to explore a topic further. The companion website has Powerpoint slides, author podcasts and examples of completed research projects, which are all very helpful when working with students who require a little extra support. There is no doubt that this will continue to be a deservedly popular textbook with students and academics alike.
