This is book was very essential in providing a very practical platform to conceptualise HR theories and key concepts. The case studies were particularly relevant in providing diverse contexts was understanding the role and relationship between HR and modern day organizations.

Book does not really match the course content
Applied Human Resource Management provides comprehensive coverage of HR topics. The assignment mix provides various means through which students can develop their understanding, and ability to apply, HR theory. The text is well written and very accessible to undergraduate students. The price makes it feasible to adopt supplementary texts.
