The Journal of Power and Energy, Part A of the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, is a peer reviewed journal covering energy conversion systems, including power generation, and use in energy systems. The Journal of Power and Energy is dedicated to energy conversion thermo-fluid systems, but it also considers contributions in the fields of novel and smart energy systems, renewable energies, and energy storage. Specifically, the journal covers research focusing on all aspects of power and energy, from the analysis, modelling and prediction, to technology design and their O&M challenges. To this end, the Journal is also open to Artificial Intelligence based contributions power and energy specific.
In a view to enlighten the transformation of mechanical engineering in power sector to support UN's Sustainable Development Goals, e.g. SDG 7 (Affordable and clean energy), SGD 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) and SDG 13 (Climate Action), papers reviewing power and energy systems from a strategic, and environmental standpoint are also welcome.
The Journal of Power and Energy, Part A of the Proceedings of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, is dedicated to publishing papers of high scientific quality or technical content, contributing to advancements of the technology of energy conversion systems.
