Not as expected. A valuable book in its field but not useful to my learners.
The coverage of this text is excellent and is very well suited to doctoral level students. It provides a very strong foundation of knowledge and critical appreciation of core methods and current challenges.
Really excellent book.
A very useful book that provides succinct and reflective introductions to the various facets of qualitative research - from thinking about and doing qualitative research to disseminating and teaching it.
Easy to recommend book for students specialising in HRM.
Suplemental reading for students whose research is qualitative
Very useful text as part of their series of qualitative methods in organisational research
Addressing the standardization
of qualitative research designs relating to the role ethics and evidence is important. Ethics is an area that is worthy of the attention that this book has given. It is also good that the book addresses how to carry out research in one's own organization. This book provides an informative approach and encourages reflexivity.
