Good text for examining elements of stress management (individual and organizational level) and suitable for undergrad students. Perhaps not enough detail about stress itself, stressors, stress reactions etc to be adopted as a core text.
Excellent easy to follow book with case studies and good reflection opportunities.
It is a book well done. The chapters are well delineated. The book describes very well what is stress, burnout and ways to cope with stress. Is a good book.
A good supplemental text to support final year students in their preparation for professional practice.
I came across many books which evaluate individual stress responses but lacks a critical review of the scientific foundation of stress. This particular book has given a clear scientific evidence and the author have examined the elements of stress. I strongly recommend this to my students and colleagues..
