Ssu-Han Yu is a PhD researcher in the Department of Media and Communications at the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE). She is interested in how people understand media and how their everyday life is mediated. Adopting a generational approach, she is investigating into the political use of social media of young people in Taiwan. Since the start of her PhD study, she has been involved in Global Kids Online, an international research project initiated for gathering empirical evidence on children and young people’s online opportunities and risks.
