Terese Bondas is Professor of Nursing Science at University of Stavanger, Norway and Adjunct Professor (Methods of Health Research), University of Eastern Finland, Department of Nursing Science. Terese has initialized and leads the interdisciplinary research network ‘Childbearing - a qualitative international research network’ that now connects more than 90 researchers and doctoral students since its start in 200 She is a member of the working group of the Norwegian Research school in municipal health and care, MUNI-HC. Terese has had an overarching interest to apply different qualitative methodological approaches, such as meta-synthesis, action research, ethnography and phenomenology in her research. The focus is to serve the patient and the family through theory development and evidence-based care. She supervises doctoral students in several countries. Terese is involved in research that develops the Caritative Leadership theory that she has created, and several international research projects in the research areas of nursing as science, nursing care and leadership, childbearing, and method development. She is the author of more than one hundred publications in several languages.
