SAGE announces new editors for its longest-held journal Urban Affairs Review

Los Angeles, CA - Jered Carr of University of Missouri, Kansas City, Peter Burns of Loyola University of New Orleans, Annette Steinacker of Loyola University of Chicago, and Antonio Tavares of University of Minho, Portugal have been appointed as the new Editors-in-Chief of Urban Affairs Review (UAR). Originally Urban Affairs Quarterly, UAR is SAGE’s first publication and will publish its 50th volume in January of 2014.

University of Exeter becomes first European university to purchase complete primary source portfolio from Adam Matthew Digital

Adam Matthew Digital is delighted to announce today that University of Exeter has become the first European university to purchase its entire digital primary source portfolio of over 100 modules.

The University, a long-time supporter of AM Digital, made its first digital purchase in 2008, and this week has completed its portfolio, with the addition of all new content publishing in 2019, as well as the entire suite of digitised microfilm.

Essraa Nawar wins United for Libraries/SAGE Academic Friend Conference Grant

Los Angeles, CA - United for Libraries has awarded the 2014 United for Libraries/SAGE Academic Friend Conference Grant to Essraa Nawar of Leatherby Libraries, Chapman University, Orange, Calif.

Nawar will receive $850 plus full conference registration to attend the 2014 ALA Annual Conference June 26-July 1 in Las Vegas. A formal presentation to Nawar will be made at the conference.
