This is a great book for students at the beginning of any design project. The structure of the book allows students to dip in and out of it. This makes for a very useful book to use in conjunction with other research literature.

There are so many well-established books in this field that I hesitate to add new ones to the booklist. However, this new arrival goes beyond the 'how to write a dissertation' approach, making it particularly useful for advanced postgraduate and even doctoral students. Definitely a worthwhile addition to this burgeoning field.

I good intro text for students studying research in the early stages of their course. They can return to the text at later stages as their skills develop.

This is amongst the book that I am using in my course. One of the few book that touch the project management aspect of social science research.
