SAGE begins publishing Journal of Endovascular Therapy

February 27, 2015

Los Angeles, CA (February 27, 2015) SAGE today announces that it has begun publishing the Journal of Endovascular Therapy, a multidisciplinary journal covering all topics related to minimally invasive peripheral vascular diagnosis and treatment and the official publication of the International Society of Endovascular Specialists (ISES).

Established 20 years ago as the Journal of Endovascular Surgery, the Journal of Endovascular Therapy is a forum for physicians, scientists, and allied healthcare professionals who are engaged in the field of peripheral endovascular interventions.

“As a founding member of the ISES and the chairman of its board, it gives me great pleasure to announce our society’s engagement with SAGE for publishing the official journal of the society, the Journal of Endovascular Therapy,” commented Edward B. Diethrich, MD, Founder and Chairman. “This initiates a new era for the dissemination of endovascular therapy education worldwide. The partnership with SAGE and ISES creates potential far beyond where we have been in the past and challenges all our worldwide members to set new standards for scientific journal publications in the future. It synthesizes our society’s credo – ‘Think Global, Act Local!’”

The journal publishes original clinical studies, experimental investigations, state-of-the-art reviews, case reports, technical notes, vascular images, editorials, articles on the business of endovascular therapy delivery, and letters to the editors.

“SAGE is proud to add a journal to our portfolio that publishes top-quality research to support vascular specialists and improve patient care. We look forward to supporting the journal’s growth,” stated Bob Howard, Vice President of Journals, SAGE.
