SAGE Publishing launches new SAGE Video collections in Business and Management, Politics and International Relations and Psychology

July 12, 2016

London, UK. SAGE Publishing, a leading independent and academic publisher, today announced the launch of three new exclusive SAGE Video collections: Business and Management, Politics and International Relations and Psychology.

Designed to support research and learning, these three extensive and diverse streaming video collections feature 400 hours of video combined. Bringing key social science fields of research to life, the collections invigorate teaching, independent learning and research at all levels, adapting to the changing needs of students, while reinforcing course fundamentals and introducing new perspectives.

The majority of SAGE Video content is exclusive to SAGE, with over 60% in each collection originally commissioned and produced with leading academics, including many of our authors, editors and societies, to provide a complete disciplinary resource for students, faculty, and researchers that is unparalleled in the market.

The Business and Management collection features more than 140 hours of video, including in-depth interviews with experts from across the globe on topics as varied as innovation management, corporate social responsibility and social media marketing -- including the very latest insights from marketing practitioners at brands including Kellogg’s and McDonald’s.

The Politics and International Relations collection provides more than 130 hours of video including interviews with renowned experts covering subjects including international migration, political philosophy and the international relations of China, as well as documentaries from BBC Worldwide and footage of famous political speeches from Martin Luther King and John F. Kennedy.

The Psychology collection includes over 130 hours of video with documentaries, historical footage and the accounts of real practitioners and real clients as well as original tutorials, such as forensic psychologists working inside a prison and clinical psychologists treating patients with a variety of mental health disorders, that allow the user to witness professional psychologists in action.

Speaking on the launch of these new collections, Kiren Shoman, Executive Director, Books Editorial, commented:

“Since its launch in 2015, SAGE Video has both met and actively engaged with the needs of students and researchers across disciplines, for courses at all levels, wherever they are taught in the world.
