This is an essential companion for those studying foundation degrees across health and social care, and also valuable reading for students at higher education level.
Excellent Text. Clear, thorough and accessible for my FdA Health and Social Care students.
Useful text for HND in Health and Social Care, well aid out with helpful exercises for the learner to consolidate their knowledge.
This has been an essential read for all of the students commencing the Foundation Degree in Health & Social Care. It covers everything a student needs to know!
Great book, encompasses the HND course very well. Students will be advised to buy, it fits with Learning Outcomes and course structure.
In the introduction to this book the authors state that this is a text for students taking a foundation degree in Health and Social Care. I teach modules on a higher education degree programme in Health and Social Care, and while this book is very well written, it does not contain the type of material that I need for my modules.
Excellent Textbook. This has helped me to engage with students in the foundation degree programme and to assist the with their learning. I have also recommended that the students use this book as a guide for themselves.
recommended text book for our students
Loved this book clear and easy to read
This is an excellent textbook for the Foundation degree in Health and Social Care. It presents the greatest breadth of information in a highly accessible format that allows the student to find the salient facts quickly and easily. This has the benefit of steering them gently toward greater depth in other texts that allow painless enhancement of study skills. This is particularly important where many of the students are drawn from a pool of people who have often been out of study for some considerable time - as with the course I run in the HE department of a large College.
Suitable for students requiring a book which offers information across modules on the course.
