Femke Bekius, Ph.D. Radboud University, The Netherlands

Dr. Femke Bekius is Assistant Professor in complex decision-making and participatory approaches at Nijmegen School of Management, Radboud University, the Netherlands. She is an interdisciplinary researcher and received her PhD degree from Delft University of Technology and a master degree in mathematics from University of Amsterdam. She teaches courses on intervention methods and strategic decision-making. Her research interests include complex decision-making and the use of participatory approaches (i.e. involving stakeholders) to understand and support decision-making in infrastructure and healthcare systems. She has published in several journals like European Journal of Operational Research, Group Decision and Negotiation and Transport Policy.
