Stephanie Dunleavy University of Ulster, UK
Stephanie Dunleavy is a Senior Lecturer in Nursing with a strong leadership background in pre-registration nursing programmes at the School of Nursing and Paramedic Science, Ulster University. She is a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and has taught anatomy, physiology and pathophysiology to undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students across a number of courses since she commenced working in higher education. Stephanie is also an Immediate Life Support Instructor, teaching life support courses in the School. She has extensive clinical experience in the fields of critical care and neurosciences and has completed a BSc (Hons) in Life Sciences and a Masters of Business Administration since registering as a nurse, subsequently moving into education. She currently takes a lead role in pre-registration nursing education and curriculum design, and is a registered nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (UK).
