This text is my favorite social psychology text I've encountered. The text is written in a conversational, accessible style that conveys to students that this is a field that is interesting and applicable to their everyday lives.
I love the book's focus on research and critical thinking throughout each chapter!
My students love how engaging and applied this textbook is with its activities, examples, various applied mini chapters at the end, accompanying case studies workbook with discussion questions, etc. It provides good depth of coverage in terms of research, key terms and theories, while the tone is conversational and accessible. Students say they actually enjoy reading it!
