Helen Lomax University of Huddersfield, UK

Helen Lomax is Professor of Childhood Studies in the School of Education and Professional Development, University of Huddersfield, UK. Her research is focused on understanding the everyday lives of children and the development of methods to enable children’s participation in research. Helen’s publications bring together interests in creative visual methods, visual culture, and research ethics and include articles on these topics in Families, Relationships and Societies and the International Journal of Research & Method in Education. Helen leads a European project on children’s digital citizenship. The project works with children, teachers, and parents to codesign and coproduce educational resources to support children’s digital participation. Helen is also a coinvestigator on a multidisciplinary research council–funded project on pollinator habitats exploring how connectedness to nature impacts on well-being and environmental custodianship.
