Both academically sound and partisan, IRQR is a peer-reviewed journal founded to advance the use of critical, experimental, and traditional forms of qualitative inquiry towards the pursuit of social justice. As such, IRQR is a forum for:

  • Discussing critical qualitative research methodologies and practices
  • Advancing knowledge-based critiques of social settings and institutions
  • Furthering our understanding of issues, and advocating in policy arenas
  • Promoting human dignity, human rights, and just societies around the globe
  • Attendees of the annual International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry also receive IRQR as a benefit of participation.
