Structural Equation Modeling
The book includes:
- Learning objectives, key concepts and questions for further discussion in each chapter.
- Helpful diagrams and screenshots to expand on concepts covered in the texts.
- Real life examples from a variety of disciplines to show how SEM is applied in real research contexts.
- Exercises for each chapter on an accompanying companion website.
- A new glossary.
Assuming no previous experience of the subject, and a minimum of mathematical knowledge, this is the ideal guide for those new to SEM and an invaluable companion for students taking introductory SEM courses in any discipline.

Supplements
Excellent book!, a delight to read. Very impressive examples using GUI with AMOS
This textbook provides great explanation of how to use SPSS when conducting SEM
An excellent textbook to introduce the course of structural equation modeling!
A comprehensive text on SEM. This is an advanced statistical text and for that reason I will recommend it as a supplemental text for students wishing to use SEM in final year dissertations.
this is very good book to everyone who works with AMOS
This is a very useful textbook which covers SEM in the level of detail that I need. Relating the content to SPSS AMOS is particulary valuable. The textbook is not for the faint hearted and I found that it was not easy to dip in and out of the chapters until a very good understanding of the fundamental principles was achieved - fair enough. Any research student considering regression modelling would be advised to at least read chapters one and two of this text.
Excellent source for advanced statistics
SEM is a specialist topic but this is a very useful book for those students (and staff) who need to use it for their research projects. The use of IBM SPSS and AMOS is well described and makes it a very useful 'how-to' book as well as giving good coverage of the principles and underlying concepts.
This is a clear and well written introduction to Structural Equation Modelling. The examples provided clarify with great skill the techniques underpinning the process. This is a must read for all those who wish to use SEM.
useful book which will be used with masters students as supplemental
