This book offers a very good overview of assessment methods that would be useful to new and existing teachers to promote self-reflection and evaluation. It focussed on modern teaching and learning methodology in an approachable and readable fashion.

A useful 'overall' textbook that will support learners to focus upon the learning that will take place in the classroom / learning environment. This is especially useful as it is aimed at the post compulsory sector - with its very dynamic learners!

This guide is useful to both established and new lecturers especially at a time when the sector is moving from teaching students to supporting their learning. There are a number of helpful checklists requiring reflection on how/why we lecture and assess they way we do, as well as advice on how to ensure learning happens in a variety of ways.
