Ke Ren holds a First Class B.A. (Hons) Degree in Early Childhood Studies and a Master’s Degree in Early Intervention (Education). She is now a Ph.D. candidate at the School of Education, Trinity College Dublin. Ke’s research interests are in the areas of early intervention, theoretical approaches (e.g., Bronfenbrenner) applied to early intervention practice, gender imbalance among the workforce in the early year’s sector, and the need for a fully inclusive education environment for all children and young people (e.g., special educational needs, disability). Her current research is focusing on the role of fathers/dads and their involvement in the lives of children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEN/D) in the early intervention context.
