March 2, 2016

London, UK. SAGE Publishing today announces the launch of the Asian Journal of Comparative Politics (AJCP) in association with the University of Niigata Prefecture. AJCP publishes theoretically or methodologically original articles focused on conceptual and theoretical perspectives in Comparative Politics.

Welcoming both quantitative and qualitative approaches, AJCP also targets the publication of short research notes that outline on-going research. The journal covers all topics in this field including; political behavior and leadership, institutions and regime, state-society relations, political cultures, foreign policy and globalization.

Editor-in-Chief Takashi Inoguchi commented:

“AJCP is a publication aimed at political scientists all over the world. We are confident that with SAGE as our publisher, the journal will reach and engage this global audience, becoming a core forum for the discussion of important comparative research addressing issues central to the 21st century.”

SAGE Publishing’s Editorial Director Karen Phillips, additionally remarked:

“We are delighted to begin publishing AJCP with the University of Niigata Prefecture. Seeking to bridge the gap between Political Science and other related fields such as Economics, History, Sociology, Psychology, and Medical Science, AJCP is an exciting journal for us to work with due to its interdisciplinary scope. We look forward to working on its growth and development providing an expanded forum in which to debate these theoretical ideas.”
