A really useful book for my Early Years students as it looks at recent policy & practice, all aspects of PSED and gives practical suggestions, case studies and reflection points.
This book offers an up to date consideration of issues facing young children and early years practitioners. It has real strengths in the way that it links so well to the EYFS statutory framework and non statutory guidance, and also draws so heavily on relevant psychological and educational research.
This is a valuable text book for Foundation Degree in Early Years Students to use in module Module 3 The Developing Child. It is easy to read, very informative and has some good case studies and reflection points within each chapter to aid further understanding of the key issues
