“I would VERY LIKELY adopt this book…for the readability, comfort level, and wide-scope.”
“Yes, I would like to adopt this book for a course, especially for the lab text for my reading methods course. I feel it provides important problem solving work that undergraduate students rarely get to be involved in an organized manner.”
“It is very likely I would adopt this text because it provides the opportunity to analyze data and plan for intervention.”
I will be using this text the next time I teach READ 5443 Literacy Instruction and Assessment. It is written from the theoretical stance that aligns with the course and provides excellent examples for discussion. It will be especially useful in generating online discussions with my students at a distance. It will provide common experiences for us to discuss.
