Adam P. Knowlden, PhD, CHES University of Alabama, USA

Adam Knowlden is Assistant Professor of Health Science at the University of Alabama. Dr. Knowlden specializes in the development of behavioral prediction models and the evaluation of theory-based interventions. His research focuses on prevention of childhood obesity within the context of the family and home environment as well as unintentional injuries resulting from sleep deprivation. Dr. Knowlden is a member of the American Academy of Health Behavior, American Public Health Association, and Society for Public Health Education. Dr. Knowlden is a Certified Health Education Specialist registered by the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. He earned his MS and PhD degrees from the University of Cincinnati and earned an MBA from Franklin University while employed as a Legislative Analyst for the Columbus (Ohio) City Council.
