Anna Harris Maastricht University, the Netherlands

Anna Harris is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Technology and Society Studies Department, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, Maastricht University, The Netherlands. She studies the material and cultural life of medical technologies, skills, workers and institutions, largely using techniques of ethnography. She is currently investigating how doctors learn and use the skills of listening to sound in their practice, which she is researching using sensory methodologies. She has also conducted research in the areas of Internet studies and online health narratives, medical migration, medical museums and the relationship between art and medicine.
