Avinash Patwardhan, M.D., M.S. George Mason University, Fairfax, VA, USA

Dr. Patwardhan spent 18 years in active medical practice as an Obstetrics & Gynecological surgeon in India. Thereafter he spent 20 years in health outcomes, programs evaluation, and health economics research in the USA. For last 4 years he serves as an assistant adjunct professor at George Mason University, Virginia. Dr. Patwardhan also worked on a World Health Organization project. He serves on the editorial board of several journals & is an associate editor of the journal 'Health Services Research and Managerial Epidemiology'. Additionally, he is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES), an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (ERYT500), a member of International Association of Yoga Therapists and a life Member of Indian Science Congress Association.

His research interests are behavioral sciences, human sexuality, Subjective Well Being (SWB), health & productivity, health economics, yoga, health robotics, and chronic diseases.
