John Da Silva Luiz is a Professor of International Business at the School of Business, Management and Economics at the University of Sussex, and Visiting Professor at the Graduate School of Business (GSB) at the University of Cape Town, specialising in emerging markets. Previously, he served as a Professor and Director of International Relations at the GSB, was a Professor at the Wits Business School (served in various capacities including as their Director of International Programmes and as Academic Director), and was Executive Dean in the Faculty of Management at the University of Johannesburg.
