Remy R. Coeytaux, M.D., Ph.D. Wake Forest School of Medicine
Dr. Coeytaux is a Professor of Family and Community Medicine at Wake Forest School of Medicine and the Caryl J. Guth, MD Chair in Integrative Medicine. Dr. Coeytaux recently moved from Duke University to Wake Forest University to become the new Director of the Wake Forest Center for Integrative Medicine. He received his MD from Stanford University, completed family medicine residency at Maine Medical Center, and obtained his PhD in clinical epidemiology from the School of Public Health at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. Dr. Coeytaux was a Robert Wood Johnson Clinical Scholar at UNC and a Bravewell Integrative Medicine Scholar. He has participated on numerous federal study review panels and serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Acupuncture Research. His research has focused on acupuncture, particularly for headache, and systematic reviews. Dr. Coeytaux has published 95 peer-reviewed manuscripts and numerous book chapters.
