Suzanne C. Danhauer, Ph.D. Wake Forest School of Medicine

Dr. Danhauer is an Associate Professor and Vice Chair of the Department of Social Sciences & Health Policy at Wake Forest School of Medicine, Division of Public Health Sciences. She also has an appointment in the Department of Internal Medicine, Section on Hematology and Oncology, and is the Associate Director of the Office of Women in Medicine and Science. She received her PhD in clinical psychology from the University of Kentucky, completed an internship at the Palo Alto VA, and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Stanford Center for Research Disease Prevention. Her research interests include yoga, cancer survivorship, and women's health. Dr. Danhauer has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, received numerous federal and private research grants, and served on multiple study review panels. She is an active member of several professional societies including the Society of Integrative Oncology, Society of Behavioral Medicine, and the American Psychological Association.
