Zhou Yu is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family and Consumer Studies at the University of Utah. His research focuses on the intersection of housing and migration, with particular attention to immigrant residential assimilation, household formation, and homeownership. Recent projects examine generational differences in housing transitions and investigate how social and institutional factors shape housing outcomes. His work has appeared in Habitat International, Housing Studies, and SAGE Open. Dr. Yu earned his Ph.D. in Planning from the University of Southern California.
