Both academically sound and partisan, IRQR is a peer-reviewed journal founded to advance the use of critical, experimental, and traditional forms of qualitative inquiry towards the pursuit of social justice. As such, IRQR is a forum for:
- Discussing critical qualitative research methodologies and practices
- Advancing knowledge-based critiques of social settings and institutions
- Furthering our understanding of issues, and advocating in policy arenas
- Promoting human dignity, human rights, and just societies around the globe
- Attendees of the annual International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry also receive IRQR as a benefit of participation.
