Dr Fanshawe works in full time private practice as a cardiothoracic anaesthetist in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. His primary interests include trans-oesophageal echocardiography, coagulation management issues and perioperative heart failure management. He attended medical school at the University of Queensland graduating with 1st class Honours and is a Fellow of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. He has also completed a fellowship in cardiac anesthesiology at Mt Sinai Hospital before returning to Australia.
