A very well formulated up to date text on CBT in mental health. It covers all the major illness groups that CBT can be used with. It offers the latest ideas and theories in a very easy to understand way. The book can be picked up and a particular subject can easily be accessed. An excellent addition to our library and fully recommended to our students.

This is an excellent CBT book that effectively explores the application of CBT to various mental health disorders. You can tell it has been written by knowledgeable clinicians and as a consequence students will be able to connect with the material effectively. I would have no hesitation recommending it for the mental health and recovery module

I have put this book on the reading list for our library and book shop for student nurses both pre and post reg.
The lay out of the book with the learning objectives at the start of each chapter is informative. Good examples used from practice settings. Diagrams aid understanding. The large tracts of text might be off putting to those new to the book.
