A decent primer on social entrepreneurship with lots of examples and cases.
This book serves as a beginner level guide to social entrepreneurship likely best used in an undergraduate course. It is clearly written
and straight forward and appears to hit all the basics. It also provides strong student exercises.
This is an extremely useful textbook that presents information in a logical and well formatted way, which is conducive to learning. Each
chapter includes a glossary of terms to help reinforce student understanding and draw attention to the most important concepts, a
profile of a successful social entrepreneur, and a mini case study. There are also very helpful questions that will guide deeper
consideration of the topics presented and application of knowledge gained. The book is very user friendly.
This is a very good overview of social entrepreneurship that guides students through consideration of what these are, how they are
established, how they operation (or can operate), and how to assess their impact. The book provides a lot of insightful and engaging
cases and examples. In addition there are a number of useful exercises to provide experiential learning for students in developing
skills to support each aspect of social venturing.
This is a great book for introduction to social entrepreneurship.
Still conceding the text for an MBA course. In process of design. Will make decision by January 2024
