First things first: improving your health and wellbeing is a lifelong, but very rewarding, journey and it’s never too late to commit to it.
Some steps editors can take to increase diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) within their journals
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) is something that we care deeply about at Sage. We are aware that the publishing industry, including Sage, has much more work to do in order to better reflect the diversity of the world we seek to educate and inform. Our core Sage Journals DEI pledges are published here.
Here, you will find information on Sage Catalyst, including the title list and how to use Talis Elevate in teaching.
These guidelines are for Editors and Editorial Teams to support diversity, equity, and inclusion in communicating and working with authors and reviewers and focuses on topics such as unconscious bias, language, and working with authors with disabilities. Additional resources are available in our Taking Action on Diversity guide on the Sage Editor Gateway.
Every year another 2 million scholarly articles are published. The sheer volume, and constraints on time to keep up with the literature, mean that inevitably not all of them will be widely read.
Between us, we can improve the chances of your article being found, read, downloaded and cited – of your article and you making an impact.
We've put together this guide to support you in teaching phonics, spelling, punctuation and grammar in the primary school classroom!
What are Plain Language Summaries (PLS)?
Whether you are a researcher currently working on an advanced degree, like a PhD or postdoc, or are only a few years out of your program, Sage offers an abundance of resources and services to support early career researchers (ECRs) throughout this initial stage as you work to establish yourself in your chosen field. If you are interested in serving on a Journal’s Editorial Board but are not sure about the steps involved, this page is a great place to start.
