Ann Gravells continues to provide superb guidance to new student teachers
The book has been written for the PTLLS course, therefore it would be useful if every student had a copy. The book gives an excellent 'walk through' of the course for students to dip in and out as required.
The books have been recommended to the campuses libraries to purchase.
A good source of information for students considering teaching qualifications
Again another good, easy to read text that will help some of my less able students with the assignments and overall background reading.
Fab, fab, fab book - this is what I have been waiting for since introduction of new PTLLS course. Really helpful book, written at the correct level to help learners especially those who have been away from education for a long time.
It gives key advice on completing written and practical assessments. The book was particularly useful for learners who are new to teaching.
Excellent book for indicative content when delivering training. Will recommend to students who lack confidence in completing assigments
A very useful guide to supplement the PTLLS book. Clear and logical to follow.
This is a very useful update and contains some very useful information for students undertaking PTLLS. It is a book that I will encourage my students to buy as I think it will help them to focus on the role of the teacher in lifelong learning. It has a good layout and is very readable.
I think the Harvard referencing chapter is extremely useful and user friendly.
I would highly recommend this book for my tutors.
This book breaks down the learning outcomes and assessment criteria into easy bite size chunks to enable any learner to tackle the complexities of the new 4 Unit qualification. Essential for level 3 learners but also recommended for level 4.
