This book has been a valuable resource for my courses. All tutors and learners have utilised this for research and planning. Good hints and tips which are easy to follow and adopt as a teacher
I have used this book to find out how the students would prefer to be taught. They have read through the pages, and ask me to try out different methods. This has improved engagement
Absolutely loved this book, a great read, well presented and easily understood and digested.
Recommended to all my leaners.
I only received this book yesterday and have been engrossed in it. It is laid out so clearly that it is highly accessible. The thought- provoking quotations at the beginning of each chapter encourage thinking around the subject in advance of reading each chapter.
excellent for these studies......a must
Really helpful for supporting my teaching assistant learners. Provides a lot of easy to digest information that a lot of teaching assistant handbooks don't have. So good for TAs, teachers and tutors.
There are some very good points in this book though we felt that it was not exactly what we were looking for.
For teaching ideas it is good but it just was not suitable for our DTLLS course.
A very practical book with many strategies in support of teaching practices. This would be a valuable addition to any library, student or reflective practitioner.
This book will be useful for learners on their journey to becoming a teacher with lots of practical help and suggestions in easy, simple to understand language.
