This book has been adopted as recommended reading for the BSC honours Community Youth Work degree at the University of Ulster in Magee. the book offers an overview of person centred practice with young people, setting it in context and offers good examples of case studies and reflective questions and exercises that are useful for students. It is particularly useful for training students as effective helpers and in listening ear. I suggest that those involved in counselling training would find this a useful resource.
