We are requiring all our introductory writing courses to use the same textbook, and this one has a little more journalism in it than we need for our course. But, I love this textbook. I think the writing is compelling and it handles some topics far better than the textbook we currently use, like the interviewing chapter for example. If my students were a little more advanced or my choice was for just my sections of the course, I would absolutely choose this textbook.
